Liverpool back off from Keita deal

RB Leipzig head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl says that he is "100% sure" that Liverpool target Naby Keita will remain at the German club.

The Guinea global has been regularly linked with a move to the Anfield outfit over the past few months as Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his options ahead of the new season.

Hasenhuttl has not been irritated by the constant speculation surrounding Keita, though, adding: "When you play such a famous season a year ago, it's normal that players get interest".

Leipzig's stance - both publicly and privately - has been that Keita is not for sale at any price this summer as the club embark on the Champions League for the first time in their history.

When asked about another potential bid for Keita, Klopp responded: "Then we'll make a €300m offer for Keita!"

"The chance [of him leaving] is null", he said during a press conference that followed a 1-0 defeat to Sevilla in the Emirates Cup. It's 100 percent clear that Naby will play this year at Leipzig.

In a similar incident on Tuesday, the USS Thunderbolt fired warning shots at Iranian navy boats operating in the Persian Gulf. The officials said the Iranian boat is believed to have been operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Liverpool will reportedly reignite their interest in Keita next summer as he has a release clause in his contract that can be triggered at the end of next season.

'At the beginning of the transfer window we said we would start with the same team with all the main players we had past year and that no one will go and that will be our answer now also.

Naby Keita made 123 defensive actions in the Bundesliga last season.

"For us, everyone can see how important Naby Keita is to our game, Emil Forsberg also".

"They (Liverpool) will not be the only one I think". He knows this season will be fantastic for us.
