Moto Z2 Force Officially launched with Snapdragon 835 Chipset

Moto Z2 Force Officially launched with Snapdragon 835 Chipset

Motorola has launched its new flagship device - the Moto Z2 Force Edition at a price of $720. The phone can also support some pricey external modifications such as with JBL sound boost 2, Moto style shell with wireless charging, Moto insta-share projector, incision vehicle dock etc. The dual SIM phone supports NFC, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MIMO, and Bluetooth 4.2. Two colour variants are on offer - Lunar Grey (T-Mobile only) and Super Black.

Looking at the specs exclusively, the Moto Z2 Force appears not any more special than other phones in the same price range - it costs around $720 - but it has three unique selling points: its shatter and crack-proof screen, its 12-megapixel dual cameras with phase detection and laser autofocus, and most importantly, Moto Mods. It packs a small 2730mAh battery compared to the 3500mAh as seen on the Moto Z Force.

The smartphone will go on sale across various carriers in the United States from August 10, with pre-orders now open for buyers in the country. What really stands out about the Moto Z2 Force is that it is really slim. The smartphone will be available on pre-order from 25 July and in stores from 10 August. The smartphone will go on sale in Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Middle East, and Africa from later this year. The Z2 Force has dual rear cameras, a sleeker profile, and a redesigned ShatterShield panel. The Moto Z2 Force bears a fingerprint scanner on the Home Button, which also features the new one-button navigation features we first saw introduced in the Moto G5 series. You'll view it all on a 5.5in Quad HD AMOLED display, which uses Moto's ShatterShield tech and supposedly can not smash. This allows for bokeh effect shots and arty black and white effects.

Apple Patent Dispute Loss Means $506M Payday For University Of Wisconsin
The patent that has led to this hefty fine revolves around a "predictor circuit" that helps improve processor performance. Apple is yet to issue any comment on the development post the court ruling but is likely planning for filing an appeal.

The smartphone's inbuilt storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB).

GFXBench also confirmed 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, 12-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, HDR, face detection, and 4K video recording, 16 megapixels front camera, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The phone measures in at just 6.1mm thick. Still, the company claims the latter can last all day and its 15W TurboPower charger is capable of delivering 8 hours of power within minutes.
