Gunman wounds three at San Francisco park packed with families and tourists

Gunman wounds three at San Francisco park packed with families and tourists

A witness says the park was packed at the time of the shooting with families and tourists. People began to run after realizing that it's an actual gunshot.

Antonia Juhasz says she saw someone running off with a handgun and two people bleeding profusely before emergency workers carried them away on stretchers.

As you likely know, at 3:05 p.m. Thursday five or more shots rang out in Dolores Park, sending park-goers scrambling for cover and fleeing to safety.

[Update: 4:10pm] According to an SFPD statement, police transported three people from the scene with gunshot wounds, but there's no word on their condition. He says that in a situation like these I would have normally handle it, but I was also sure that I was going to lose my life that time.

Physicians treated the two critically injured men at San Francisco General Hospital, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Republican senator: GOP is 'in denial' about dangers Trump poses
His policies on Europe, NATO, Russia and trade are the opposite of what Republicans have advocated for sixty years. But Flake admitted that such techniques were "a monumental dodge" and compared the situation to a biblical flood.

Witnesses saw several people speeding away from the park in a vehicle, a police spokeswoman told SFGate.

Then she saw a man holding a gun. "Literally, the people were behind (the statue) in the middle of the day, the middle of the park, packed with kids, packed with people".

An investigation is ongoing and no other information was immediately available.

"I've lived here for years, and this doesn't happen", Juhasz said, according to the Chronicle. He saw a bloody victim writhing on the ground and a man in a hoodie pulled over his head sprinting away. "I assumed it was fireworks because I can never tell the difference".

In the hours following the shooting, crime scene technicians combed the scattered mess of backpacks and clothing surrounded the base of the Miguel Hidalgo statue where the three victims were shot.
