People Aren't Thrilled About Rachel's Fiancé

In one of the most tense reunions between a victor and his or her runner-up in recent memory, Peter Kraus admitted that he cried while on the set of After the Final Rose, the annual live post-finale special hosted by Chris Harrison, when re-living his unfinished exit from the reality dating show. Bryan was still presented in the caddy and overly charismatic way that fans had come to expect (and loathe).

At the final three rose ceremony, Lindsay looked Wisconsin business owner Peter Kraus directly in the eyes before handing him and Abasolo roses and told him she expected a proposal at the end of the show. He was even rewarded the coveted first impression rose, and as far as "The Bachelorette" is concerned, she's "living (her) best life" engaged to Bryan. He explains that he was a boy, but Rachel made him a man (in the Fantasy Suite?). Again, Peter is allowed to be cautious about one of the biggest decisions of his life, but then why was he a contestant on a show that notably squishes "falling in love" into less than three months? After briefly discussing how hard it was for Rachel to make that decision, Eric was then brought onto the stage with Chris and Rachel. In the morning, Rachel hopes to have more clarity, but she seems not to.

"I had seen Peter since what you saw last night", she added, referring to last night's live "Bachelorette" event.

In Rioja, Spain Bryan greets Rachel with a passionate kiss, she admits she missed him. "Wake me up for the ending", she said lethargically, pretty much perfectly summing up my feelings about Bryan. Rachel says they are really falling in love with each other and feels there has to be a way to fix this and make it right; she doesn't question his feelings for her but he is just fighting it and they just need more time to sort this thing out. She knows what makes her happy more than people watching a soapy television show.

Army soldier injured critically in Pak firing along LoC in Uri
Reports said the soldier was killed when a sniper fired by Pakistani troops hit him in Mankote sector of Poonch along the LoC. Pakistan violated the ceasefire by firing at Indian posts along the LoC in Kalsia belt of Rajouri district on July 31.

In a "Bachelorette" first, Rachel watched the final episode live in front of a studio audience.

"I don't think that I'm ready to ask you to marry me tomorrow", Peter told Rachel. After a heart-melting speech on a attractive tower in Spain, Bryan asked for Rachel's hand in marriage. Rachel joined Chris on stage to offer live commentary which is the first time something like this has happened in Bachelorette history. After some pandering, Bryan proposes and she accepts. "You just can't, but I don't know, maybe you can". Peter had his chance!' she said.

Lindsay and Abasolo said they're not rushing to plan a wedding. This made total and complete sense to me, but, at the same time, in love there are no sure things and sometimes you just have to jump. From then on, she was clearly smitten by the Colombian although she said throughout the season that she thought he was too good to be true. "I mean, the man told me I was going to have a mediocre life if I wasn't with him, and then apologized about it".
