Shanghai will host Victoria's Secret annual fashion show in November

But there is one person on the Victoria's Secret line up that has been criticised and warned not to go to the show in China later this year, and that's Gigi Hadid. The show will be broadcast in more than 190 countries, with U.S. channel CBS playing the show live on November 28 at 10pm Eastern Standard Time.

The production, which is set to take place in Shanghai for the first time in its history, will be filmed in advance and broadcast on November 28 via the CBS Television Network.

"I feel so humbled to get the opportunity to be part of the fashion show once again". The 22-year-old model has featured at the VS show two times before. The annual event is the world's most celebrated and most watched fashion show, and this year it will be seen in more than 190 countries.

In a post on Instagram on Monday, Hadid announced she will be making an appearance at the Victoria's Secret 2017 show.

After a series of casting and call backs, various new faces were selected for their debut performances.

Newcomers include Grace Bol, Roosmarijn de Kok, Alexina Graham, Frida Aasen, Aiden Curtis, Victoria Lee, Nadine Leopold and Vanessa Moody. Prior to that, models have traveled to Cannes, Los Angeles, and Miami to walk the runway. Now with the VS news, people are writing online that Gigi isn't welcome in China for the Victoria's Secret show because of the cookie incident, and because she never apologized for it. The artists performing at the show will be announced by the end of the month.
