You'll see what we're talking about in the new Thor Ragnarok TV spot below. Fandango just released their annual survey of most anticipated fall films, and the new Thor tops the list as voted on by 1,000 movie fans.

Recently, the studio made a decision to whet our collective appetites with a series of colorful character posters featuring some of the heroes and villains we'll see. The Sakaar's arena is much larger than I thought it would be, and it comes with a holographic hype machine to get the crowd riled up.

As for Cate Blanchett's villain Hela, the first female villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems like Marvel Studios is playing things fairly close to the vest with that character.

After the mediocre Thor: The Dark World, the franchise needed something new and fresh.

It opens in theaters on November 3, 2017.

Thor: Ragnarok, also starring Idris Elba, Karl Urban and Anthony Hopkins, arrives in Australia on October 26 and will open in the USA on November 3.
