Trump Again Seizes on Terror Incident to Call for Travel Ban

Trump did not offer any policy plans, and instead went on to promote his proposed travel ban and critique "political correctness".

"Must be proactive!" He then added: "Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner", without giving details of what that meant.

"We are aware of the arrest that took place in Paris, following the attack on a counter-terrorism soldier".

The upgrade came following Friday's explosion on a London underground train at the Parsons Green station, West London which injured 22 people.

The Metropolitan Police were equally quick to dismiss Trump's accusations that the force was aware of the attacker before the explosion, calling his comments "speculation".

It'd be less jarring if this were the first time Trump responded badly to an attack in London, but it's not.

The London bomb exploded on a packed train during morning rush hour Friday, leaving at least 29 people injured but no one with life-threatening injuries.

Theresa May's former adviser Nick Timothy reacted to Trump's intervention by saying: 'This is so unhelpful from leader of our ally and intelligence partner'.

The whole event was a little surreal: the President had gone outside to watch an 11-year-old called Frankie Giaccio mow the lawn (Frankie had written to the White House asking if he could) and ended up talking worldwide affairs.

"It keeps going and going, and we have to be very smart and we have to be very, very tough - perhaps we're not almost tough enough", Mr. Trump said in the Rose Garden.

Trump's tweet seemed to envision such a "larger, tougher" ban, though he also said the measure needed to be "more specific" - which might indicate the White House is not inclined to bar people merely due to their nationality.

"The internet is [terrorists'] main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better!" he tweeted.

A police spokesperson told CNN that Trump's comment is "pure speculation given we don't know who involved". He argued that his administration has "made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years". "It keeps going and going, and we have to be very smart and we have to be very, very tough - perhaps we're not almost tough enough". Must be proactive & nasty!'

Whether it's Canelo or Golovkin, or even Billy Joe, I would fight anyone who has got that IBF title if I'm given the shot. He can box when he wants to, which he did against David Lemieux tremendously well.
