An Army subedar was going towards Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station to drop off five of colleagues in a truck on September 9. Later, Metropolitan Magistrate Lovleen granted bail to the accused Smriti Kalra after she was produced before the court.

Police have seizing her auto and initiated a probe. He alleged that despite them blowing the horn, the auto driver refused to give them way, police said. She then stepped out of her auto and asked Singh and his driver to alight their vehicle. "She kept blocking the way as we tried to overtake her vehicle, ' alleged one of the men in the FIR".

Record number of terror-related arrests
The Home Office said that 91 per cent of those in jail were Islamic extremists while five per cent were far-right extremists. There was also a leap in arrests for "domestic" terrorism, up from 10 in the year to June 2016 to 52 in the latest period.

The army constable who was driving the truck tried to speak to the woman but she allegedly held his collar, slapped him and hurled abuses at him. As the army jawans got down from the truck, the woman sped away in her auto. "She hurled abuses at the Army", the FIR said.

The 44-year-old is reportedly a divorcee who puts up in Gurugram with her parents. However, the Army officer had asked his colleague to do a video recording of the incident.

According to police, the woman got out of her auto and slapped the JCO, who was in uniform and was driving an official vehicle, after a minor brush between the two vehicles. Subsequently, Kalra was arrested from her home in Gurugram and police also seized her auto.
