Las Vegas killer Stephen Paddock's neighbours speak out for first time

Las Vegas authorities described Danley, reportedly an Australian citizen who has lived in the USA for years, as a "person of interest" in the investigation, but they have not been more specific.

She landed in Los Angeles at about 7.30 p.m. local time Tuesday, CNN reported.

A law enforcement official says she arrived on a flight from Manila to Los Angeles where Federal Bureau of Investigation agents were waiting for her late Tuesday night.

She may hold key information as to what motivated Mr Paddock's shooting spree from the 32nd floor of a hotel into concert goers at a country music festival in the famous casino city. "I can't comment at the moment, I can't say anything", her sister Liza Werner told the Sydney Daily Telegraph, which said she was a grandmother.

Paddock and Danley moved around constantly, with properties in Arkansas, Nevada, California and Texas, public records show.

Police responded to the incident and found Paddock dead in his hotel room from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot. Investigators found a computer and 23 guns in the shooter's hotel room. "He sent her away, so that he can plan what he's planning without interruptions", one sister said. "In that sense, I thank him for sparing my sister's life but that won't be to compensate the 59 people's lives".

One friend, Betty Dixon, who attended dance and exercise classes with Danley, described her as a wonderful woman.

Yang, who is China's most senior diplomat, said Trump's trip was of "great importance" for Sino-US relations. Asked whether China was involved in brokering the communications, Tillerson reportedly said: "Directly".

Stephen Paddock, in United States city of Las Vegas, opened fire at hotel across street to people in concert area on Sunday night, 59 people were injured in attack, 525 people had died. Danley's two sisters spoke to 7 News Australia and had their faces blurred.

A law enforcement official has confirmed the 64-year-old shooter wired $100,000 to the Philippines before Sunday's terrifying attack.

Those who knew Danley said they were surprised she had become involved with Paddock.

Paddock apparently had been using some of Danley's identification in the days before Sunday's shootings, leading to some confusion.

Sheriff Joe Lombardo said he was "confident" she was in the Philippines after police said a day earlier she had also visited Japan yesterday.

Pictures have also surfaced showing Paddock in what was believed to be a gathering of Danley's family in the Philippines. She filed for divorce in 2015.

She is not under arrest or now facing any charges.
