Marilyn Manson Injured Onstage as Set Collapses!

The accident took place Saturday night as the iconic and controversial artist, whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner, was performing the hit song "Sweet Dreams" during a concert at the Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom in NY. Further images from the scene suggest Manson - real name Brian Hugh Warner - attempted to climb up the guns before they fell on him. "He is being treated at a local hospital", a representative has revealed.

The "Heaven Upside Down" tour, which launched this weekend in Maryland, is scheduled to continue through the end of October. The singer's band continued playing for several minutes before the stage lights came on and the venue announced that the show was over "due to injury".

"The shows from Boston, 2 October through Houston, 14 October will be rescheduled for a later date". Journalist Katerine Turman tweeted that he was taken to the hospital and says that he only sustained a leg injury.

Manson was 90 minutes into the gig when he clambered onto the prop only for it to collapse.

According to TMZ, he was taken to the hospital in a stretcher.
