Weinstein, accused by dozens, specifically disputes Nyong'o's harassment claims

At the head of this are the Weinstein Brothers-Harvey and Bob-who have both been put on blast with allegations of being sexual predators. "Get her what I tell you to get her".

He now faces criminal inquiries in three cities after an Italian actress told Los Angeles detectives that Weinstein raped her in a hotel room in 2013.

Weinstein is being investigated by the LAPD, NYPD and London police over sexual assault claims, as more women have been coming forward with their stories about the Oscar-winning producer now two weeks after exposes in the New York Times and New Yorker. Through them all, Weinstein - or at least his representatives - mostly stayed quiet.

"Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein", read one such statement to CNN, after Cara Delevingne joined the list of Weinstein accusers. Weinstein has had his card pulled by filmmakers who have shared thoughts and comments that Harvey has made about black women and other women of color.

That changed this week.

Nyong'o accused Weinstein of several incidents of harassment in an op-ed piece published by The New York Times on Thursday, including a 2011 incident in which she said the mogul tried to give her a massage at his CT home.

Tensions have increased between Pyongyang and Washington since the regime began testing intercontinental ballistic missiles that could hit the U.S. mainland.

The "12 Years a Slave" actress was still at Yale School of Drama when she and Weinstein crossed paths at a 2011 awards ceremony in Berlin, where he was introduced to the then-aspiring actress as "the most powerful producer in Hollywood".

"Harvey led me into a bedroom - his bedroom - and announced that he wanted to give me a massage. He was not", Nyong'o wrote.

"I felt so powerless", she tearfully recalled.

The invitation to screen a movie with Weinstein and his children at his CT home turned into a restaurant lunch where he tried to bully her into drinking alcohol, she wrote, followed by him cutting short her viewing of the movie after 15 minutes and taking her to his bedroom where he offered to give her a massage.

"I share all of this now because I know now what I did not know then. Am I the only actress who hasn't slept with Warren Beatty in this town?" "But I also did not know that there was a world in which anybody would care about my experience with him. I told him not to do that and informed him that it would make me extremely uncomfortable".

For unknown reasons, Weinstein issued a more specific statement in response to Nyong'o's essay, calling her out by her (first) name and stating - as she had already done in her New York Times piece - that she was the one who invited him to New York to see her Broadway show.
