Harrison Ford a Car Accident Hero

Harrison Ford has once again shown his real-life hero credentials after helping to rescue a woman following a vehicle crash in California.

Local authorities say the actor helped first responders assist the driver of the auto, which veered off of the eastbound 126 Freeway around noon Sunday and crashed into an embankment.

The actor then pulled over and rushed to her side along with other bystanders.

Harrison Ford helped rescue a driver who veered off the highway Sunday morning.

The woman was the only occupant in the auto and was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

The "Indiana Jones" actor is a known plane enthusiast.

"He acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else, and tried to help before emergency services arrived", he said.

In February, Ford flew directly above an American Airlines Boeing 737 commercial jet with 116 people on it, the Daily Mail reported.

Ford has been involved in life-threatening situations himself, as recently as in 2015, he suffered serious injuries after engine trouble forced him to crash-land on a golf course near a Southern California airport.

In September the actor hopped out of his vehicle to direct traffic in NY after getting stuck in a traffic jam at the entrance of Midtown Tunnel, Entertainment Tonight reported.
