The Samsung A series welcomes a new member - Samsung Galaxy A5

By having a first impression of the Galaxy S9 through these CAD renders, Samsung might think of having a change of heart as far as the camera positioning goes.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) smartphone, which is expected to launch soon, has passed through Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification.

Or rather, it's posted a page for the SM-A530, but given that the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has the model number SM-A520 and the Galaxy A5 (2016) is the SM-A510 there's little doubt that this is the Galaxy A5 (2018).

The handset will apparently come with an Samsung Exynos 7885 mobile processor and will feature 4GB of RAM. Apart from hinting at the imminent launch, the FCC listing also reveals some specification details about the upcoming A5 (2018).

Drinking A Lot Has Been Linked to Cancer, Doctors Warn
However, ASCO is not asking people to forgo drinking completely; they are only suggesting a controlled consumption of alcohol. Their findings show just 38 per cent of people are limiting their alcohol intake to reduce their risk of cancer.

The Galaxy A5 (2018) is expected to boast 5.5-inch screen having full HD+ (2160x1080p) resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Instead, the biometric scanner will be transferred to the back portion, or right below the camera module. Recently, the phone's model number was also found listed on the support page of the official site of Samsung.

The report adds the Samsung Galaxy A7 2018 got FCC approval on November 9.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is powered by the Exynos 7880 chipset which is comprised of an octa-core ARM Cortex A53 64-bit CPU clocked at up to 1.9GHz and the Mali-T830MP3 GPU. It could always be a fake, and we'll probably see more Galaxy S9 leaks in the coming months.

Samsung Galaxy A series is the mid-range premium one from the company with the A7, A5 and A3 usually being launched. So there is a chance the Galaxy A series for 2018 could come with a new "Infinity Display" without any home button on the front. In them, we can clearly see a vertical camera and fingerprint sensor arrangement positioned on the back of the phones.
