Trade sends Bledsoe to Bucks

Eric Bledsoe said he's "excited" to move forward with his National Basketball Association career after the blockbuster trade Tuesday sending him from the Phoenix Suns to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 27-year-old Bledsoe had not been with the Suns since October 22 when he posted "I Don't wanna be here" on Twitter, the same day the Suns fired coach Earl Watson. The NBA fined the eight-year NBA veteran $10,000 for the tweet.

Monroe is averaging 6.8 points and 5.0 rebounds in five games this season.

Phoenix in return gets backup center Greg Monroe and a first-round pick. Monroe was attractive in large part because he is an expiring contract. From a Phoenix perspective, this trade was merely about ‏adding a future first-round pick and ridding themselves of the disgruntled Bledsoe.
