WWE Smackdown preview: The lineup tonight's show (no match result spoilers)

As noted, AJ Styles defeated Jinder Mahal at tonight's WWE SmackDown tapings in Manchester, England to become the new WWE Champion. The win dramatically changes the match card at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view, which was set to see Mahal face WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in a champion vs. champion match to headline the show.

This comes right as another match has changed for Survivor Series, as The Bar regained the Raw tag team titles yesterday, putting them in the spot against the Usos in a champions vs. champions match.

Mahal won the title on May 21, defeating Randy Orton and has continued his title reign for longer than most expected.

Donald Trump's Twitter Account 'Inadvertently Deactivated' For 11 Minutes
Roger Stone, a longtime associate of Trump, was suspended by Twitter on Saturday after lashing out at CNN anchor Don Lemon. The tweet was interpreted by many, including the foreign minister, as a threat of military action against the country.

This is also the second straight night it appears the Survivor Series lineup has suffered a huge shake-up. So two title matches are now confirmed for Smackdown next week.

Styles is now a two-time WWE Champion following last year's triumph against Dean Ambrose at Backlash. The assumption is that Mahal is out and Styles will be the one to face Brock Lesnar. "It remains to be seen if Styles steps into the Lesnar match or what exactly will happen".
