Catherine: Full Body Remake Will Have New Endings, Love Interest

Catherine, Atlus' unusual persona spin-off puzzle game about outrunning demons during your sleep and navigating an affair, is getting a remake on PS4 and Vita.

Atlus and Studio Zero are working together as new allies, and they feel that fusing their creativity will be important in making Catherine: Full Body together. This full remake of the 2011 PS3 and Xbox 360 game will be coming sometime in the near future. She also supposedly has a much different personality than the other Catherines, which poses a new challenge for our hero.

The outlet also reports that, according the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine (via Ryokutya2089 and Hachima Kikou), in addition to Catherine and Katherine, Catherine: Full Body will feature a third girl named Rin.

Today Atlus announced Catherine: Full Body for PS4 and PS Vita.

It's been a long standing rumour that Catherine would be getting a remake or a sequel to the cult classic on the PlayStation 3.

Atlus will hold a Niconico livestream on December 22 to provide more details about the game. Per Kotaku, Persona 5 director Katsura Hashino has taken the lead on the project, which is titled Catherine: Full Body. She'll add another wrench into the story, which adds new cutscenes and even a handful of new endings.

Catherine: Full Body is now only confirmed for Japan but expect to hear an announcement for the official Western release soon. Multiplayer online battles and the ability to cross-save on platforms should also be in the final version game.
