Poland Manufacturing Growth At 34-Month High

Poland Manufacturing Growth At 34-Month High

Spain's manufacturing activity growth moderated from a near 11-year high in December, survey data from IHS Markit showed Tuesday.

The Caixin Purchasing Managers' Index rose to 51.5 in December from 50.8 in November. It was also lower compared to the 55.7 reading posted a year earlier. The index has held above the 50 line separating growth from contraction for every month since November 2013.

The manufacturing sector grew in December, setting a new record as business conditions improved at a record pace, a new survey showed.

Accordingly, Indian manufacturers upped their staffing levels at the end of the year.

According to it, the 15% seats of the private medical colleges will be decided by the management of fees. Doctors protested in parts of Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Odisha, as well.

The slowdown was reflected in the drop in buying activity in December, the sharpest decline since September. India's retail inflation in November breached the central bank's medium-term target of 4 per cent, which could put pressure on it to raise policy rates in the coming months. The increase was driven by stronger new order growth and the fastest rise in employment in the sector since the survey began in 1998.

Finally, the Future Output Index signalled the strongest level of confidence in three months, with more than one-in-five survey participants forecasting higher production.

Commenting on the Nikkei India Manufacturing PMI data, Economist at IHS Markit, Aashna Dodhia, said: "The sector continues to face some turbulence as delayed customer payments contributed to greater volumes of outstanding work".

Turning to margins, the report from Investec found that input costs rose at their fastest pace in nine months, with higher raw material costs widely mentioned by panellists. "This outlook was shared by the manufacturing community as sentiment picked-up to the strongest in three months amid expected improvements in market conditions over the next 12 months", Dodhia added.
