Princess Charlotte Is Adorable On Her First Day At Nursery School

The darling two-year-old worked the camera, sporting a red coat, Mary Janes, pink scarf, and the ideal dose of sass in the portraits, which were photographed by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge. The little girl teamed the coat with grey cable knit tights and a pink cashmere cable knit scarf by royal designer Marie-Chantal. Plus, she also kept a short curly bob, much like she does today, at the age of 91.

The princess will be a full-time pupil at the nursery, which charges fees of just over £3,000 a term for pupils attending its Monday to Friday morning school, and employs lots of play as children learn. Taking after your great-grandmother isn't all that bad, especially when she's the Queen.

The £14,500-a-year school is owned and run by headmistress Lavinia Taylor.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning.

According to its website, Willcocks is a "traditional nursery school which strives to maintain its ethos for high standards, excellence and good manners".
