Lava Red OnePlus 5T Goes Global, Sale Begins Tomorrow

Lava Red OnePlus 5T Goes Global, Sale Begins Tomorrow

The company has unveiled a "Lava Red"-coloured OnePlus 5T". The new color variant is now available in all countries excluding Australia.

The Lava Red OnePlus 5T tomorrow, February 6th, at 10:00AM EST on the OnePlus website, and it will only be available while supplies last.

Odds are fairly good that the Lava Red OnePlus 5T will sell out fairly quickly, so you should be ready at 10:00AM EST tomorrow if you want any chance of getting one. It has even released a sweet video ad that features American actress Emily Ratajkowski, for the love-themed phone. And now, OnePlus has launched this 5T Lava Red variant for global markets.

"OnePlus is excited to bring the OnePlus 5T Lava Red, a color variant powerfully radiant and synonymous with the OnePlus brand", OnePlus said in a note to the press on Monday morning. Since the celebration is for lovers, the deals are for two items. Twice anodized, and double sandblasted, the Lava Red color feels like a natural part of the metal and highlights rather than obscures the OnePlus 5T's design ID.

Unfortunately, there is a limited number of Lava Red units available, so you have to grab it while supplies last. There is, however, a Sandstone White edition version that may provide better handling and ergonomics. The only one with a different color is the OnePlus logo at the back which is still black.

OnePlus pitches the Lava Red model as "the flawless gift" for Valentine's Day, so it's likely to be available for a limited time.

Furthermore, those who purchase two of the same accessories including OnePlus Bullets (V2), a selection of OnePlus Bumper Cases, a selection of OnePlus Silicone Cases and the OnePlus backpacks, will be able to take advantage of a 15% discount.

The app is now an Android exclusive and, at least at the time of publication, appears to still only be available in Australia. It's still not clear if it will make its way to other countries or if an iOS version is in the works.
