The Big Bang Theory to have another geek: It's Bill Gates

Bill Gates will appear as himself in an episode of "Big Bang Theory" next month. Penny (Caley Cuoco) will host Gates at her job, and of course, the guys will desperately try to get the chance to meet him.

It's not clear if Gates' appearance will be brief, or a star role throughout the episode, but the show is bound to reference Gates' work at Microsoft or his life after the company as a billionaire philanthropist. We have to wait until the episode is aired to know that.

The Big Bang Theory returns to CBS on Thursday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET. Gates played himself back in 2001 in a guest shot on Frasier in that show's ninth season.

Brent crude eases, while lower Canadian supply boosts USA futures
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were at $62.16 a barrel at 1.53am GMT, up 48c or 0.8% from their last settlement. Brent, the global benchmark, has seen its premium pricing over WTI - known as the spread - wither in recent weeks.

For the fans of The Big Bang Theory, this won't be the first time they'll be witnessing a geeky hero cameo. If you're eager to see Gates on TV in the meantime, the former Microsoft CEO recently made an interesting (and humorous) appearance on The Ellen Show, which you can check out below. He joins the likes of Bob Newhart (as Professor Proton), Buzz Aldrin (as himself), George Takei (as himself), Stan Lee (as himself), Stephen Hawking (as himself), and so many more brilliant and iconic minds.

The half-hour sitcom, which is now in its 11th season, stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar and Mayim Bialik as socially awkward scientists.
