Will AIMPLB oust member over Ayodhya dispute?

Ayodhya Sadbhavna Samnvyay Maha Samiti, which is promoted by Ravi Shankar, has proposed to the AIMPLB to give the disputed land for the Ram Temple to the Hindu parties.

The petitions before the judges relate to the 2010 verdict of the Allahabad High Court in the title suit that had been pending for almost six decades. The clarification has come amid media reports that Salman Nadvi, a member of Board is engaged in an out of court settlement with Hindu Guru Ravishankar. Mishra's letter is the first proposal given by a Hindu organisation to AIMPLB. He said that the court already is of the view that the case is related to the title of the land and does not relate to a matter of faith or belief.

"They have supported the proposal of shifting the masjid outside to another place".

Declaring the Hyderabad plenary as historic, he said that the present times were tough on Muslims, with the "government of the day showing a clear bias" against them.

It said that 16 leaders from multiple organisations attended the meeting at which representatives and scholars from various states were present too. "A bigger meeting is slated to be held in Ayodhya soon", the statement added.

Nadvi, who is the executive member of the AIMPLB, made these remarks following his meeting with the Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

Rob Porter's Second Wife: I Am Not Part of a Smear Campaign
On Thursday, amid the growing controversy, Shah said Porter had cleaned out his desk that morning and would not be back. Meanwhile, a photo of Holderness, with a black eye she says she got when Porter hit her, has been circulated.

Other attendees were Centre for Objective Research and Development (CORD) director Athar Husain Siddiqui, businessman AR Rahman, London-based World Islamic Forum chairman Maulana Isa Mansuri, Lucknow advocate Imran Ahmed, former Haj committee of India chairman A Aboobucker and Dr Musa Kaiser of Bengaluru.

While suggesting that an out-of-the-court settlement is possible in the Ram temple-Babari Masjid dispute, Nadvi said the courts do not join people's heart as the verdict is always in favour of one and against the other.

The AIMPLB has renewed its effort to find an amicable solution to the Ayodhya dispute as the Supreme Court started hearing the case on Thursday.

Addressing a press conference here, Owaisi said, "The All India Muslim Personal Board (AIMPB) has reiterated its un-compromising stand on instant triple talaq bill and Babri Masjid issues".

The report pointed out that eleven main issues pertaining to the Muslim community across the nation were approved for discussion by the working committee as the agenda.

The Babri Masjid built in 1528-29 CE that stood in the same site was demolished by Hindu Karsevaks on December 6, 1992 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, which caused massive riots across the country. Earlier February 8 was fixed as the final hearing in the Ram Mandir case but the Apex Court today fixed the next hearing date to March 14.
