Broncos among 4 teams considered favorites to land Kirk Cousins

Arizona Cardinals fans will be happy to know that Larry Fitzgerald is taking advantage of an accidental run-in with free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins on Thursday.

The Redskins traded with the Kansas City Chiefs to acquire Alex Smith on January 30, agreeing to a four-year extension with the veteran. I am not just talking about in the National Football League either. Once quarterback Kirk Cousins signs with a team, that picture will be a little clearer and we may have some insight on which team may land Cousins. We could see almost four quarterbacks drafted in the top 10 this year, but to whom?

Cousins posted a picture with the Cardinals wide receiver to Instagram on Friday, with a caption that will make Cardinals fans very excited. New general manager Brett Veach recently stated that Mahomes was "one of the best players he has ever seen", so it is no surprise they made the move to him.

FIFA Chief: Iranian President Rouhani Pledged Women Will Get Access to Stadiums
Fifa's president, Gianni Infantino , was also in attendance, along with Iranian Sport Minister Masoud Soltanifar. A group of female fans that had bought the tickets for the game were told they could not enter the stadium.

If they come up short in the chase for Cousins, they can always select a QB with one of their early picks or go another year with Siemian and/or Lynch under center. Restructuring the contracts of players like Chandler Jones or Patrick Peterson would help as well, but given the future commitments the Cardinals already have on their books, that could be a unsafe game. The New York Jets have more cap room and likely more cash for a heftier guarantee. The desperate need for a Quarterback and the ample cap space necessary to offer a large contract makes this scenario seem like a strong possibility.

In case Cousins joins the Vikings, the Broncos and the Jets could settle for Keenum, according to Mike Klis of 9News. Yahoo's Charles Robinson reports, the Denver Broncos are prepared to go "all-in" on Cousins.

Even if Cousins signs somewhere other than Cleveland or Denver, it is going to be hard for him to ignore the Minnesota Vikings, it is possible that the Browns and Broncos could still work out a trade.
