Impaired bride crashes on her way to her wedding say police

It's unclear whether the wedding went ahead.

Officer Scott says he has no clue whether or not the bride-to-be and her fiance actually tied the knot following Amber's arrest.

Young's arrest was preceded by a three-vehicle wreck. So that's the only good news in this story.

Scott says that Young signed a criminal complaint, a document with a promise to appear in court at a later date, and her fiancé picked her up from the police station.

The Arizona Daily Star and multiple local media sources reported that Sergeant Chriswell Scott of the Marana Police Department tweeted a picture of Young's arrest, while she was wearing her wedding dress with her hands cuffed behind her back.

Scott tweeted, "Don't drive impaired, till death do we part doesn't need any help".

The accident happened at about 10.30am on Monday in Marana, about 30 miles north of Tuscon. No word yet if Young eventually made it to her wedding or if her groom is still waiting for her at the alter.

Her ideal day ended in handcuffs and behind bars before she could even say yes.

One person suffered minor injures in the crash, according to Scott.
