Future iPhones to Feature Curved Displays, Touchless Controls

Future iPhones to Feature Curved Displays, Touchless Controls

Apple is working on a way for you to control some tasks on a phone by moving your finger close to the screen, Bloomberg said.

There's no guarantee at this point that Apple's curved display and gestures projects will actually move forward into future iPhones. Users who use iPhone SE iPhone 7 was addressed to the gratitude and satisfaction by this update. The 10th anniversary iPhone's OLED display curves slightly at the bottom though it isn't that visible to the human eye. A curved iPhone may be as little as two to three years away, the person said. If the rumors are anything to go by, Apple will announce the brand new iPad Pro, featuring the key features and design of the company's current flagship handset, the iPhone X, at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2018 this June. Although the iPhone does boast the best camera out of any smartphone, nearly all of their other features have been implemented and mastered by other manufacturers such as Samsung, LG, and Sony.

Apple has a number of new features in the pipeline for its upcoming iPhones.

Some Oklahoma schools stay open during teacher walkout
Last week, Arizona teachers rallied at the state Capitol in a #RedforEd protest over low pay and low funding from the state. The State Department of Educations said 95 firearms incidents have happened at Oklahoma schools over the last three years.

If Apple were to succeed in developing curved screens for its iPhone series, consumers can expect to see future releases rocking this type of display. Google's ATAP research group has been working on similar technology through a program known as Project Soli.

In the fourth quarter, Apple was responsible for about 20 percent of smartphone shipments following the launch of the iPhone X and iPhone 8, beating out second place Samsung and Huawei, according to IDC.

Touchless gesture control would allow end users to hover their finger over the display and still be able to interact with onscreen options. What makes Apple's approach to the technology different is the fact that the tech giant would rely on sensitivity built into the display, rather than an external camera.
