Noooo! One of Ant and Dec's new shows has just been cancelled

ITV bosses have decided that Ant McPartlin will feature in this weekend's Saturday Night Takeaway in pre-recorded footage.

The news comes as Dec prepares to host the show alone for the first time ever this weekend, as Ant has entered rehab for the second time following his drink-driving arrest.

Sunderland University psychologist Dr. Helen Driscoll says it'll be very hard for December.

Executives were keen to keep the show on air, but agreed the decision would be left up to Dec, who has never worked without Ant since they started presenting together.

A source close to Ant and Dec said: "Dec is speaking to Ant throughout this process".

"They have told a few friends and Dec has told key people at ITV".

"But after a lot of soul searching it was decided that the final two episodes should run because viewers have loved the series and want to find out the conclusion in the final two episodes".
