Celtics Maintain Home Court: Take 2-0 Series Lead

If you were too busy watching Jaylen Brown score a game-high 23 points or the Celtics somehow managing to stifle LeBron James into 5-of-16 shooting for 15 points in Game 1, see if you could spot Auerbach's signature near Boston's bench during Game 2.

While LeBron James is focused on the Cleveland Cavaliers' series against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals, there is still the underlying storyline of his pending free agency. Tristan Thompson moves into the starting lineup, with Tyronn Lue touting his defensive success against Al Horford, who shot 8-of-10 in G1.

For starters, LeBron already has history working against him.

As most hoops fans know, Lue, now 41 years of age and on his third season with the Cavs, once served as an assistant under Doc Rivers with the Celtics.

They don't call Terry Rozier "Scary Terry" for nothing.

It's the first time that OH has played in the NCAA Tournament since 2014, which is also the last time the Bobcats won the MAC. Along with winning the College World Series the past two years, the Sooners haven't missed the NCAA Tournament in 24 seasons.

That's just the fourth time all season LeBron has been held to 15 points or less (that's counting the last game of the regular season in which he scored 10 points in 10 minutes then sat the rest of the way), and it was far-and-away the least productive game of a postseason that he has thoroughly dominated. In fact, before the game, it was announced that Marcus Morris would start, in place of Baynes, to better matchup with Cleveland and their big men.

Then again, the man posted his 24th playoff game of his career with at least 40 points (and fifth this postseason), and extended his National Basketball Association record of playoff games with at least 40 points and 10 assists to five.

0 - If you're reading this and watch the game on your couch, you scored as many points as JR Smith did in Game 2.

Morris was true to his word, turning in an incredible performance in which he scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, but more importantly, forced LeBron into seven turnovers, limited him to just 15 points, a playoff low, and was a critical part of the blowout start for Boston that resulted in a 108-83 dismantling of Cleveland. At first, it looked like one of those typical revenge games from the king. His two points on 1-of-2 shooting in 11 minutes is something that he must improve on going forward, especially with the way he has played all throughout the playoffs. There's a reason why both teams get home games. "That's why I was able to come back and finish the half". Brad Stevens has done a fantastic job at putting the Cavs in uncomfortable situations and making it extremely hard to get any type of rhythm. Things were getting chippy, but the C's kept their head on the game plan.

Well, Marcus Morris of the Boston Celtics did not miss. In Game 1, Kevin Love was the leading scorer with 17 points, but he was just 1-of-4 from three.
