DICE Teams up with Nvidia for Battlefield V

Battlefield V launches on October 19 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

This time around it appears that Dice has put more emphasis on Operations, renaming it Grand Operations. Take on classic modes like Conquest or squad up with friends in the cooperative Combined Arms. With Activision deciding to ditch the Single Player campaign in favor of a battle royale mode and zombies (on the Titanic no less) for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It's a more narratively involved mode than the endless battle royale Fortnite clones now in development or early release.

Nvidia engineers are working with Battlefield V developers to ensure that the GeForce platform can get the most out of the DICE games engine by delivering Game Ready drivers and other platform specific features for Battlefield V. Ski down Norwegian mountains as you battle for control of nuclear weapon supply lines, join the frontline with the French colonial troops, or go behind enemy lines in North Africa with a band of misfits sent to create mayhem. There will be no premium pass, all players will have access to the same maps and modes, keeping the community unified as they progress through Battlefield V. In Tides of War, their journey through World War 2 will grow through themed experiences that will include events and all-new ways to play like Grand Operations, while also unlocking the latest themed rewards such as weapons and vehicles to further shape their Company. There are two editions of the game - standard and deluxe.
