France slams Trump for remarks on guns and Paris attacks

"France expresses its firm disapproval of the comments by President Trump about the attacks of November 13, 2015 in Paris and asks for respect of the memory of the victims", the statement read. "Each country is free to decide its own legislation in regards to gun control" and "the statistics on victims of gun violence do not lead France to question its laws in this matter". "France is proud to be a country where acquiring and carrying firearms is strictly regulated".

During this emotional speech trump depicted the screams and cries of the victims of the Paris massacre and reiterated that if French citizens had the right to bear arms, "it would be a very different story".

"They say it's as bad as a military war-zone hospital", Mr Trump told the United States pro-gun rights group. Come over here. Boom, come over here.

To add to the woes, Trump also mimicked the terrorists and said: "Boom".

The November 2015 attacks by gunman loyal to the ISIS terror group were the worst in France's history and left the capital and wider country deeply traumatised.

"Our reaction is first of all disgust over unacceptable clowning around", its leader Philippe Duperron told the Huffpost website while asking for "an official reaction".

In response to the president's words, former French president François Hollande harshly rebuked Trump's "shameful" remarks.

Hollande's prime minister at the time of the attacks, Manuel Valls, wrote on Twitter: "Indecent and incompetent. What more is there to say?"

Antonio Conte: 'Chelsea have good opportunity to catch Liverpool'
I have a contract with Chelsea , I am doing my job, I am doing my work every day. "This is my answer". Whether that is Conte's last game in charge remains to be seen.

Dr. Karim Brohi, another Royal London surgeon, said Trump's position makes no sense.

Trump has family ties to Scotland and has spoken warmly of his hopes to visit Britain.

The hospital, which he did not name, had "blood all over the floors" from knife crime, he said.

"They don't have guns".

Those British reports last month followed headlines stating that London's murder rate had surpassed that of NY.

In his interview, Griffiths had expressed concern that the age of victims of both knife and gun crime who were treated at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel appeared to be getting lower and that he was routinely treating children between ages 13 and 15.

Trump's remarks come just a week after he invited French president Emmanuel Macron as a guest of honor at the White House.

"There is more we can all do to combat this violence, but to suggest guns are part of the solution is ridiculous", Brohi continued. "Gunshot wounds are at least twice as lethal as knife injuries and more hard to fix".
