Tree planted by Donald Trump, Emmanuel Macron mysteriously disappears

Fresh from meeting President Donald Trump in Washington, Macron touched down for the first foray Down Under by a French leader since Francois Hollande came to Brisbane for a G20 summit four years ago.

Rouhani's comments are likely to further complicate efforts by European countries to keep the United States engaged in the deal.

Trump has pilloried the agreement created to curb Iran's nuclear programme as "insane" and "ridiculous" and called for fresh measures to counter Iran's ballistic missile programme and support for militant groups across the Middle East.

"Our priority as an worldwide community remained preventing Iran from developing a nuclear weapon", it said. And, an unstoppable surge of new tension in the Middle East?

When gifting it to Trump, the French president tweeted: 'This Oak Tree, (my gift to @realDonaldTrump) will be a reminder at the White House of these ties that bind us'.

"I am for making sure Iran never has a nuclear weapon, but I don't want to see us isolate the United States from our allies", Cardin told the conference. Trump has set a May 12 deadline for the United States and Europe to address the issues he has with the nuclear deal - under USA law, the President has to recertify the deal every few months.

His closed his recently reopened Twitter account almost a year ago, he said , because, "I didn't have a lot to say. West, 40, who dropped " Ye vs. the People " - a collaboration with T.I.

This comes as a deadline looms next month for Trump to decide on whether to restore US economic sanctions on Tehran - something which could destroy the 2015 agreement which lifted some sanctions in exchange for curbs on Iran's nuclear program.

Trump talks about Iran "cheating" on the deal. "We need to work with the global community to isolate Iran".

After years of fractious negotiations, a pact was finally signed in 2015 between the US, Britain, Germany, France, Russia, China and Iran under which Tehran agreed to rein in its controversial nuclear programme in return for an easing of tough economic sanctions. Needless to say, this requires a delicate balance.

Pompeo had previously said it was "unlikely" Trump would agree to keep the deal.

The US called the documents "real" and "authentic", while the European Union recalled that the agency in charge of monitoring the Iranian nuclear programme didn't question Tehran's fulfilment of the commitments.

"He has made no decision on the nuclear deal, whether to stay in or get out", he told Fox News.
