Rumour: Fortnite is heading to Switch

Of the names, Fortnite is the biggest title there in terms of popularity at the moment, and according to an anonymous source from Kotaku, the game will be heading to the Nintendo Switch.

It really, really seems like Epic is planning to bring Fortnite to the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch fans will rejoice at this news, the portable console is soon to get its own version of Fortnite.

The document does list a few other interesting titles too, including Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, FIFA 19, and Overcooked 2, which has not yet been officially announced. In contrast, PUBG is only available on PC and Xbox One, and the Xbox One version has yet to reach parity with its PC version. Would you like to see it on the Nintendo Switch?

Mandatory evacuations as Hawaii eruption continues
The Kilauea volcano's massive eruptions of lava have also left many cut off and trapped as it threatens to block escape routes. The lava that is now coming to the surface is the hottest and most fluid to date.

The game releasing on the Nintendo Switch does make a lot of sense. Oh, and to add fuel to the fire, the game has also just been rated for the Nintendo Switch on the Korean ratings board.

The Nintendo Switch is the lone console that Fortnite: Battle Royale has not conquered yet. At this point it's unclear of this port for Fortnite will include the Save the World game mode in addition to its Battle Royale one.

This listing comes pretty close to confirming the release of the game, with an announcement most likely to come at E3, which takes place from June 12-14. A source familiar with Epic's plans told the publication earlier this week that Fortnite was indeed heading to the Switch. "Epic Games did not immediately respond to a request for comment", the report states. There's a look at Starlink, Ubisoft's space-bound toys-to-life game that we last saw at E3.
