Maurizio Sarri given Premier League warning by Pep Guardiola over dinner

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says he is excited with the prospect of learning from Chelsea's new head coach Maurizio Sarri this season. Quoted by Sky Sports, he said: "I would like to thank the fans for the welcome and for how well they have treated me".

But despite their lack of business, the Italian manager believes that Chelsea only need one more player ahead of their Community Shield clash with City and says he has not been demanding more deals.

"So, I'm so satisfied - all my period here, even the first year - with the squad we have".

New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri swooped in at the last minute to bring Jorginho to Stamford Bridge from Napoli. Being here I feel we are going to improve a lot [because of] his ideas in England.

Director of Football Txiki Begiristain added: "Gabriel is undoubtedly one of the best young forwards in world football, so to have him commit his future to us is a huge boost". He has no visa and we will try to convince the federation to allow him to stay. "If not we stay with the players we have".

Under Sarri, Chelsea now look to be a more attacking team in a similar style to the one Guardiola currently uses at City.

Strong quake shakes Lombok

"He's ready to play, that's why we want the permit".

Sarri, who has not won a trophy in his career, said: "The match for us is very hard for one reason: they have worked all together for two years".

"Maybe it was a bit late to announce that, but if you don't want to come, don't come, and good luck with Chelsea".

"I don't have an answer, I'll try to do what I did in Barca and Bayern, to be harder with my players". In each of the past four years, the FA Cup holders have won the Community Shield with 2013 the last time a Premier League champion came out on top when Manchester United beat Wigan Athletic.

They also have a number of other options to choose from, with Cesc Fabregas and Ross Barkley impressing during pre-season, while N'Golo Kante returns to training at the start of next week following his World Cup exertions.

"We can not deny there are more contenders, United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, they have excellent players".
