4 people dead, including gunman, in downtown Cincinnati shooting

He says an investigator told him the suspect had enough ammunition to cause "a bloodbath beyond imagination".

A Louisville woman who was shot several times Thursday during the mass shooting at Fifth Third Center in Cincinnati is in stable condition and already looking to make a difference.

One witness, Leonard Cain, told the Cincinnati Enquirer that he was going inside the bank when someone yelled that he shouldn't because of the shooting.

Santa Perez's aunt, Yudy Martinez Perez, slumped against a kitchen wall and muttered denials after she heard the news, The Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

"We send our prayers to the victims and their families", said Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley.

The local Telugu Association of North America office said they plan to help Kandepi's father.

Perez arrived at the location in his own vehicle and parked his auto on a nearby street, Isaac said.

He wasn't a current or former employee at the center, whose primary tenant is the Fifth Third Bank headquarters, officials said. "It could have been much, much worse" without the quick law enforcement intervention, he said.

The Enquirer also reports that bystanders said they heard "perhaps as many as 12" gunshots.

They'll see him again against Kyrgios, who burst onto the scene with a win against No. 1 Rafael Nadal in 2014 at Wimbledon . He could face No. 30 Nick Kyrgios in the third round and 13-time major champion Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals.

There were people screaming "shooter, run, leave", in Fountain Square, a park that often hosts concerts, dancing, and food trucks.

Amanda Nageleisen, a spokeswoman for University of Cincinnati Medical Center, previously confirmed to HuffPost that the center had received four victims from the scene.

Ebony Ginyard, who works at a Dunkin' Donuts in Fountain Square, said she and other workers and customers dropped to the floor when the shooting erupted, according to Reuters. The first four police officers to arrive at the bank spotted Perez raining gunfire in the lobby - and quickly engaged him, Isaac told reporters. Two others were hospitalized.

It was unclear if the gunman was shot by police or he shot himself, Police Chief Eliot Isaac said at a press conference.

Witnesses in the area described a chaotic walk to work, hearing about 10 gunshots ring out during the morning rush.

People are also being asked to continue to avoid the area around Fountain Square.

According to FOX19, at least two people are dead and the shooter is in custody. He saw a woman about to enter the bank and people shouted at her, he said, but she had headphones on.

"There was a senseless act of gun violence on the streets of Cincinnati this morning", Kasich said.

To recap, just after 9, emergency responders went to 5/3rd Bank at 5th and Main for report of active shooter with multiple victims.
