Nintendo Direct set for 9/13, will include Switch Online details

This week's Nintendo Direct will be a 35-minute showcase of upcoming 3DS and Switch games.

Nintendo announced on Wednesday that Nintendo Switch Online will launch in just less than a week, on Saturday, Sept. 18. These will include Super Mario Bros, Ice Climbers, and the original Legend of Zelda.

Nintendo started off today's Nintendo Direct with the debut of a teaser trailer for Luigi's Mansion 3, which is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Notice how the words "Nintendo Switch Online" are nowhere to be found.

After the maintenance is complete, Nintendo Switch Online memberships will be available for purchase.

While UK pricing hasn't yet been confirmed, we know how much it'll cost in the US. Individual membership is separated into three tiers: $3.99 for one month; $7.99 for three months and $19.99 for 12 months.
