Neville Launches Fierce Criticism On United Over Mourinho

Former England manager Fabio Capello has gone to reveal the two players Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wanted to sign in the summer.

Reports emerged on Friday night that a decision had already been taken to remove Mourinho, who is without a win in his last four games - something that has never happened before in his managerial career.

Manchester United's three wins, three defeats and one draw in their opening seven games marks their worst start to a Premier League season under José Mourinho and their joint-worst ever.

"I hate the fact that players can get a manager out - I said that he's lost the dressing room but I don't like saying those words". But a win over Newcastle and the backing of the club would feel more of a stay of execution for Mourinho.

"I think it's a ridiculous talk because the players, they do not play for the manager", Mourinho said.

"The people in the boardroom who are overseeing the football operations are nowhere near good enough; they're not qualified".

An animated Mourinho reacted with fury, screaming at his players and gesticulating wildly.

Bellinger's blast was a back-breaker for German Marquez , as he started the fourth inning with a strikeout. Neither of the other division titles have been handed out, nor has either wild card berth.

"This is the first time I've seen in football man-hunting", Mourinho told BT Sport.

After weeks of speculation and scrutiny, the Daily Mirror reported on Friday evening the 55-year-old would be axed irrespective of the outcome of Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle.

Christian Atsu hopes Newcastle United pile compound the misery of fellow strugglers Manchester United ahead of the meeting of the two sides on Saturday. When you are in your own city, your own stadium, and you have 75 minutes minimum on the bus, I think that this is quite hard to accept.

'The only thing I said to the players is that they did a great job, we have to manage situations better but to be fair they were pushing and pushing, they have so mnay good players it was hard.

"We are better than this and because we are better than this, our situation is going to improve".

"In this season with the potential of our direct opposition, last season to finish second was a fantastic season for us". "I have no doubts about that". I think a lot of wickedness and clear man-hunting in football is too much. "That is the reason why it was a phenomenal season".
