Gwyneth Paltrow slammed for Stan Lee 'tribute'

Kirk Schenck, an attorney for Lee's daughter, J.C. Lee, confirmed to CBS News that Lee, 95, died at a Los Angeles hospital on Monday.

"I don't think anyone was quite ready for it, just quite yet", Grummett said.

Dozens of Marvel Comics movies, with almost all the major characters Lee created, were produced in the first decades of the 21st century, grossing more than $20 billion at theaters worldwide, according to box office analysts. Stan Lee created or was involved in the creation of hundreds of superheroes, and (of course) inspired countless others. They had love and money worries and endured tragic flaws or feelings of insecurity.

The man born Stanley Lieber published his first comic book under the pseudonym Stan Lee in 1941-Captain America Comics #3-and he never looked back. This meant the artist was doing the lion's share of the creative legwork, and so Lee was seen as taking an undue amount of credit over his artistic collaborators, Kirby in particular.

Scholes: Manchester United only beat Juventus because they were complacent
Asked if he would have reacted like Mourinho, Allegri replied: "No, I leave the pitch immediately to avoid reacting". After listening to taunts from the Juventus crowd for 90 minutes, Jose Mourinho couldn't resist paying back in kind.

Lee formally left Marvel in the 1990s but remained chairman emeritus. "It seemed like a tradition you should not break, even though it was the first one", Feige said of the day on the set of 2000's X-Men.

In recent years, as Lee reached his 90s, he ran into legal troubles and scandal.

Lee's wife of almost 70 years, Joan, died in 2017. Lee passed away today, November 12, and notable figures from the worlds of movies, TV, and comic books have taken to social media to pay tribute to him and his effect on their lives.

Josh Brolin, who played Thanos in this year's Avengers: Infinity War, explained the extent to which Lee's work had influenced him. "He was irreplaceable." And we couldn't agree more.
