Kareem Hunt Kicks Abigail Ottinger in February 2018

Police were called after the altercation, which occurred in the early hours of February 10, but no arrests were made because they couldn't determine if there was a crime committed, according to TMZ. The website reports the 19-year-old woman, who was not identified, told police the confrontation started because Hunt wanted her to hook up with someone in his entourage and she refused.

The NFL has another mess on its hands in regards to domestic violence. Kansas City now owns a one-game lead over the Patriots for the No. 1 seed in the AFC ahead of their visit to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday afternoon. TMZ reports that prosecutors had access to the hotel surveillance video.

The NFL has not responded to TMZ's request for comment. Belcher was later found to have suffered from CTE. He was suspended for two games by the NFL.

Hunt said coach Andy Reid told him, "Just move forward and focus on football". No arrests have been made in the case. Additionally, the league is leaning toward putting Hunt on the exempt list pending further investigation.

And in 2017, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott received a 6-game suspension from the league over allegations that he assaulted his former girlfriend in 2016.

Hunt was sent home from the Chiefs team facility after the video surfaced on Friday. It shows Hunt lunging toward a woman and several others in the hotel hallway, and the second-year pro being restrained several times. In it, Hunt can be seen arguing with the woman and pushing her.

In June 2018, TMZ reported that Hunt had been involved in a fight with a man at the Bay Lodging Resort in Put-in-Bay, Ohio. Mr. Hunt allegedly assaulted a woman on our premises.
