R. Kelly facing criminal investigations after Lifetime documentary exposes abuse allegations

The Savages, who live in Stockbridge, just south of Atlanta, appeared in Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly series.

Kelly has repeatedly denied the allegations. The Savages say they haven't heard from Joycelyn in two years.

In a statement, Gaga said "as a victim of sexual assault myself" she was at a "dark time in my life" when she collaborated with Kelly in 2013.

Both new accusers said the alleged sexual abuse took place in Chicago.

Chris Hopper, a spokesperson for the Fulton County DA's office, had no comment on whether or not an investigation into Kelly is indeed underway.

He noted that, when watching one woman attempt to discuss her experiences with R. Kelly, he recalled how Aaliyah used to act. Streaming live from the State Attorney's Office, Foxx issued a clear and specific call to action, urging anyone who has a story to tell to come forward.

Chicago State Attorney Kim Foxx called for anyone with information regarding the allegations against Kelly to come forward and cooperate with police.

WMAQ reported that Foxx's office said Wednesday it has received calls on the matter and is "reviewing and following up" on them, but has no additional information at this time.

Saudi women will be told by text if they are divorced
Having said that, there is a long way to go as many of their rights are still restricted to having a male guardianship system. Basically, the reason for this new concept is so that women in Saudi won't be divorced without their knowledge.

Kelly's Chicago attorney, Steve Greenberg, said in a phone interview Tuesday evening that the allegations in the Lifetime documentary were false.

She also added: "I'm sorry, both for my poor judgement when I was young, and for not speaking out sooner".

Following Surviving R. Kelly's premiere, the "Ignition" artist has come under investigation for sexual abuse allegations in Georgia, as reported by Complex.

The alleged incident went down in May 2018, and Timothy Savage made a report to police in Henry County.

A father, who believes his daughter is being held captive by R. Kelly, says he was threatened by the singer's manager. The report doesn't say what the relationship between Mason and Kelly is.

Gerald Griggs, lawyer of survivor Joycelyn Savage, told media he was contacted by the Fulton County District Attorney asking for a list of witnesses who could speak to events that occurred at Kelly's house in an Atlanta, Georgia suburb in 2017.

Prosecutors could bring new charges based on the evidence in that case - Kelly faced only charges related to child porn, and no counts of child sex abuse - without concern for double jeopardy issues, but prosecutors' decision to wait more than 15 years to file them might trouble jurors, said Jeffrey Urdangen, director of Northwestern's Bluhm Legal Clinic.
