Ariana Grande reportedly pulls out of Grammys ceremony over performance disagreement

Sources have reportedly revealed that singer Ariana Grande will neither be performing at the show, nor even attending it.

According to insiders close to the situation, Ariana Grande was offended when the Grammy committee objected to her performing "7 Rings" at the ceremony. For whatever reason, producers were against the idea, and only agreed to let Grande sing "7 rings" if it was part of a medley and they got to pick the second song.

The whole thing is quite shocking since Grande is actually on the nominee list in two categories - Best Vocal Performance for God is a Woman and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.

Ariana Grande has been known to be a bit of a diva but ya know who tops her divaness? To top it all off, Grande has chosen not to attend the gala as a front-row guest, notwithstanding her omission as a performer.

Super Bowl Odds 2019: Patriots Favorite to Beat Rams
As you can see, the Patriots are steamrolling their way to the most popular Super Bowl spread bet, with some wiggle room to spare. The Rams have only been to four Super Bowls, and this is their first since they lost to the Patriots at Super Bowl XXXVI.

7 Rings was played a record 15 million times in its first 24 hours on the music streaming service Spotify. Ariana and the Recording Academy have yet to confirm this report, and HollywoodLife has reached out to both for comment.

The last-minute withdrawal has come so late that billboards are still up around Los Angeles advertising her attendance.

Variety says they instead, 'offered her a spot during the show's Tom Petty tribute'.

Gaga is also nominated in the best pop solo performance category for Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Goin'?). Grande also likely wants to use the platform to promote her new album "Thank U, Next", featuring that track.
