Helicopter carrying Nigeria's Vice President has crashed

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has arrived Kabba, Kogi State today.

It will be recalled that the Saturday incident was the second time Mr Osinbajo's helicopter would crash-land.

Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the Vice-President on Media and Publicity, confirmed the incident. "Everyone of us is safe and no one is maimed".

Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern, and thank you to the crew who managed and the situation well.

"VP Osinbajo's Chopper crash lands in Kabba, but he and the entire crew safe".

Also confirming the development, Caverton Helicopters, in a statement signed by its Managing Director, Capt. Josiah Choms, said the relevant aviation agencies had been informed about the incident.

Mueller evidence used in disinformation campaign
The tweet was posted in October past year by the account @HackingRedstone, according to the filing. That reporter then purportedly alerted the special counsel's office to the breach.

Many Nigerians including Fani-Kayode, however, believe that Adeyanju is simply being persecuted for his frequent criticisms of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government, especially Osinbajo.

Rival presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar told Mr Osinbajo he was "happy to note" that everyone was safe.

Also reacting to the survival of the vice president is Senate president Bukola Saraki.

The Augusta AW139 Helicopter helicopter which conveyed Professor Osinbajo from Abuja to Kabba in Kogi state, crash-landed this afternoon and no injuries were recorded.

The Vice President was in the helicopter with his wife, a serving senator, Babafemi Ojudu and his personal physician. Yemi Osibanjo, and his entourage.
