Sixers trade Fultz to Magic

Fultz had a tumultuous time in Philadelphia where he dealt with a hitch in his jump shot, a couple of injuries and a fair amount of underachievement.

The Sixers traded Fultz to the Orlando Magic shortly before Thursday's National Basketball Association trade deadline, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Sixers have been rather busy this season on the trade front, making a number of blockbuster moves.

According to COO and CFO Blake Jorgensen, FIFA is still performing well despite the other franchises falling. He also pointed to the game's holiday launch.

Fultz's representatives informed the Sixers last month that the guard would be shut down until he had been examined by specialists. That experiment is over, and it's netted them a core four of Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Bulter and Harris. Fultz lost his starting spot in the rotation when the Sixers traded for Jimmy Butler. But for now, the Sixers have a great team, and that will be their focus. Simmons is mostly a bench player, so recouping the draft picks will be big for Philly. The Magic are taking theirs.

Fultz's agent, Raymond Brothers, had told ESPN on Christmas Day that his client is progressing well in rehabilitation on his right shoulder and that he expects Fultz to return to the team this season. He has been out supposedly recovering from thoracic outlet syndrome, and the Magic have made a decision to take a chance on him.

The 76ers traded up in the 2017 draft with the rival Boston Celtics to grab Fultz with the first pick, a move that has failed in hindsight as Boston got arguably the best player in the draft with the No. 3 pick in Jayson Tatum.
