Kelly's Financial Troubles Come to Light Following Explosive Interview

Detroit Police said Kelly met the teen in a Detroit-area hotel with the intention to have sexual relations. The family members said they had not spoken to Joycelyn Savage in two years and she is being held against her will. "You're saying everything they said in that documentary about you is not true?"

"They're starting to send threats to both me and him, they said, 'I'll put all your naked pictures all over the world, I'm going to ruin you and him if he don't send 20,000 to this bank account by Monday, and then 10,000 after that, '" Clary added, before addressing her parents. "Both our parents are basically out here trying to get money and scam 'cause they didn't agree on what happened", she said. "Didn't know what the hell was going on", said Kelly. "How can I pay child support?" he asked.

Embattled US R&B singer R Kelly has been taken into custody for failing to pay child support. The charges include three purported victims who were allegedly minors at the time.

Clary said her parents encouraged her to make "sexual videos" with Kelly when she was 17 so they could blackmail him.

Kelly has consistently denied any sexual misconduct and was acquitted of child pornography charges in 2008. "And they're just very upset". I'm fighting for my life!

Detroit Police Chief James Craig said they were eagerly waiting to speak to the alleged victim and had plans to fly her into MI for an interview.

Kelly, who is also facing felony charges that allege he sexually abused three girls and a woman in Chicago years ago, shouted and cried as he spoke with Gayle King of CBS This Morning.

Whew! The second part of the interview is set to air on CBS Friday. Clary was 17 when she met Kelly; Savage was 19. When questioned about their young ages, he replied, "I don't look at much younger than me".

In his first interview since the indictment, CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King asked Mr Kelly about allegations that he had sex with women under 18 and that he was physically and verbally abusive. Savage agreed with Clary, saying: "Our parents are out here just to get money". "She is not telling the truth, [although] I love her to death".

Rather, Kelly said, he learned from a bank teller how many people actually had access to his account. "How come it was ok for me to see them until they weren't getting no money from it?"

Later on, Clary and Savage sat down in front of the cameras and were invited to discuss their relationship with the singer. "This is all f--king lies for money and if you can't see that, you are ignorant and you're stupid", she says.

Wendy Williams kicked off "Hot Topics" with R. Kelly and the sexual abuse allegations against him for the 2nd day in a row on March 7.

"I wouldn't look [my father] in the eye because he's a liar, he's a manipulative liar".

Kelly, who is now behind bars following a child support hearing, opened up about his financial situation to CBS anchor Gayle King during their emotional interview.
