Trump Calls Mueller Investigation 'Bulls***' in Longest Speech of His Presidency

"They try to take you out with bullsh-", Trump said of Mueller's probe.

Michael Cohen was just the beginning.

'He took a hard punch in the face for all of us, ' Trump said, predicting that Williams is 'going to be a very wealthy young man'.

"They're gonna do that anyway, folks, " Trump said.

Scott Amey, general counsel of the Project on Government Oversight in Washington, said Trump could potentially face civil or criminal charges of submitting false or fraudulent government financial disclosure forms to hide his involvement in paying hush money during the campaign.

But to Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan, the top Republican on the House Oversight Committee, Cohen's allegations are a distraction from a convicted liar with "zero credibility".

In a podcast with former Daily Beast chief Tina Brown recorded earlier this week, Clinton was clear in delivering her marching orders to the Democratic Congress: keep digging.

Five ways Cohen implicated Trump in a possible crime
Trump has denied having sex with Daniels and said the payments to her and another woman who claimed an affair were not illegal. Stone that, within a couple of days, there would be a massive dump of emails that would damage Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Trump's friend David Pecker, for example, CEO of American Media Inc., which publishes the National Enquirer, would have AMI "catch and kill" stories that might be embarrassing for Trump by paying people involved for the exclusive rights to them - but never publishing them.

The president then revealed his plans to pursue an executive order that would withhold federal research money from schools that fail to uphold free speech on campus.

Trump said the deal is emblematic of socialism, adding that socialism is "not about the environment and not about justice".

"[But] very little has been said about that meeting in Vietnam over North Korea or what Michael Cohen, his former fixer was saying in Congress last week".

Trump let loose against House Democrats, who are broadening their investigations of him, predicted he would win re-election by a greater margin than his 2016 victory, taunted his potential White House challengers and sounded themes that are staples of his rallies. As so often, he appreciated his previous tenure as the only success story, praised about the economic development of the country and defended the controversial decisions of recent times: is about the proclamation of a National state of emergency on the border to Mexico or the planned withdrawal of US troops from Syria.

Interrupted several times by audience chants of "U.S.A., U.S.A.", Trump sought to suggest that Democrats are shifting to the radical left. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., who chairs the House Judiciary Committee, told the New York Times that Cohen's testimony shows "we have unambiguous evidence that the president has committed a crime at this point".

So did Trump ever give inflated information about his assets to an insurance company, Ocasio-Cortez asked - something that could violate the law? After the congressional hearing, the House Committee's chairman Elijah Cummings said he "probably will" call more witnesses, including Weisselberg.
