5 bodies found in Tennessee, suspect captured after manhunt

"I've been district attorney since 1980, and I've never seen anything close to this before", Sumner County District Attorney Ray Whitley told The Tennessean.

"Efforts to identify the victims remain ongoing at this time".

Five people have been found dead in Sumner County and the suspect is on the run.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been called to Sumner County, just north of Nashville, to investigate multiple bodies found at two different homes.

It was not immediately clear what relationship, if any, Cummins had to the victims.

He was then taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, DeVine said.

Another body was found Saturday at another home in the area.

On Saturday, DeVine said at least one officer fired at Cummins after he emerged from the woods.

Klopp said he agreed with Guardiola that both teams deserved to win the Premier League but that there could be just one champion. The Terriers have lost 27 league matches so far this season. "We don't only play for being champion at the end of the season".

Michael Cummins, 25, is now in police custody following a manhunt Saturday night.

No officers were injured, authorities said. An unnamed law enforcement officer shot Cummins while taking him into custody, but Cummins is expected to survive.

Details about a possible motive or how and when the victims were killed have not been released.

4 victims were located in a home off Charles Brown Road in Sumner co. and a fifth was discovered in a home on Luby Brown Road. DeVine said it's possible that there is a sixth victim hospitalized.

Using aircraft, authorities spotted someone in a creek bed around a mile from the first scene.

"TBI Agents and forensic scientists continue to gather relevant evidence and interviews in support of both the homicide investigations and the investigation into the officer-involved shooting", the TBI said.

Neighbors said the gruesome crimes are surprising, but they weren't as shocked as they should have been when they learned Cummins was named a suspect.
