LA Mayor: Rapper Nipsey Hussle shot and killed at 33

A number of celebrities, including Drake, Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams, paid homage to rapper Nipsey Hussle on social media.

BREAKING: Rapper Nipsey Hussle has been pronounced dead at the hospital after being shot outside his clothing company in south Los Angeles, multiple law enforcement sources familiar with the incident tell @NBCNews. One of the victims can be seen collapsing to the ground after being shot.

Nipsey Hussle released his debut mixtape, Slauson Boy, in 2005, following it up with the well-loved Bullets Ain't Got No Name mixtape series between 2008 and 2009.

Los Angeles police lieutenant Chris Ramirez said: "At this point, we're not even sure as to whether he walked up, rode a bicycle or drove up in a vehicle". All three men were taken to hospitals, where one of them was declared dead.
