Kristaps Porzingis reportedly involved in fight in Latvia

Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis was spotted in his home country of Latvia this weekend.

Shams Charania‏, a key contributor for The Athletic and Stadium, was among the first credible sources to confirm a bust-up occurring in Kristap Porzingis' hometown in Latvia.

More details have since emerged and it reveals that a "group of Russians" may have been upset at him for being traded from the New York Knicks to the Dallas Mavericks.

Video of the aftermath shows a bloodied Porzingis leaving a club, his shirt torn.

Heavy rain and storms later today
Showers and thunderstorms are possible beginning in the overnight hours and likely Wednesday in Central Texas. Elliott reported 9.82 inches at his home just northeast of Trussville, all of it falling within four hours.

Kristaps Porzingis off-season continues to get more weird as on Sunday afternoon in the States a video was leaked of the former Knicks star getting beat up.

According to another source debriefed on the incident, Porzingis "got jumped, hit with an object and it got broken up quickly". He added that Prozingis fought back before security broke it up. The Knicks traded him in late January. "We will provide an update when one is available", the team said in a statement.

The 7-foot-3 Porzingis spent all of last season rehabilitating from a torn ACL in his left knee suffered on February 6, 2018.

Shortly after the trade, it was reported in March that Porzingis was being investigated for an alleged sexual assault in NY. "The New York Knicks will not have any further involvement on Kristaps' behalf".
