Wenger hails Leeds’ Bielsa for sportsmanship in Villa draw

After Aston Villa player Jonathan Kodjia injured himself in a tackle, most of the stadium expected the hosts to knock the ball out of play - allowing the striker to receive treatment. Everyone saw the facts.

Bielsa had been confronted by Villa assistant boss John Terry as players on the field and both benches clashed following Klich's controversial opener.

It was always going to be the case, but is definite now that Leeds United will have to go through the play-offs if they are to achieve the promotion they have worked so hard for this season.

"I am pretty sure the majority of the players out there didn't want that [Aston Villa to be allowed to score] to happen either because they didn't do anything wrong".

What is left to decide is who plays who in the semi-finals with Leeds needing a point from their last game against bottom of the table Ipswich to seal third place.

And following the visitors' protest to the opening goal, Bielsa instructed his team to let Villa score and restore parity between the sides through Albert Adomah in the 77th minute.

The problem is, there is a substantial divergence between the price of BTC/USD on most cryptocurrency exchanges and BitFinex. A loss of faith in Tether would be a major blow to traders who rely on it as a substitute for dollars.

"English football is known for sportsmanship so I don't have to comment on this kind of thing, which is common in England", Bielsa told Sky Sports after the game.

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger also commended Bielsa for his "remarkable gesture". They are playing to come up to the Premier League and there is something at stake. Only the referee can stop the game. "Leeds took advantage of it and that is where they were guilty", the Frenchman added.

The weird scenes followed a passage of play which led the Argentine to believe his side had taken the lead unfairly during the Championship match.

Sheffield and Norwich City have already secured Premier League promotion, while Leeds will be one of four teams to contest the final promotion spot in the play-offs.

Bielsa spoke about the incident and why he made the decision he did in letting Villa equalise.
