Xbox Game Bar on Windows 10 just got a lot more useful

Exploit developer SandboxEscaper has quietly dropped a new zero-day exploit for the Windows operating system just a week after Microsoft's monthly cycle of security updates. The firm thinks the update is ready for mass consumption thanks to the "positive data and the feedback we've seen" during the longer preview phase this OS has been through.

This allows Microsoft to check that the May 2019 Update is being installed on users' computers without any major issues. The May 2019 Update, or Windows 10 version 1903 has started rolling out to consumers today, though as usual this will be a gradual rollout. It could be weeks before the next Windows 10 Update may roll out, but that's better than dealing with this problematic issue at the moment. "The Windows 10 April 2018 Update (Windows 10, version 1803) will reach the end of service on November 12, 2019, for Home and Pro editions". However, if you don't want to wait to upgrade using the recommended option, there are multiple ways to upgrade manually as soon as the update becomes available.

"We will be taking a measured and throttled approach, allowing us to study device health data as we increase availability via Windows Update", John Cable, Director of Program Management, Windows Servicing and Delivery, explains. Inside, you can open a browser and surf securely, download apps and also visit sites that you normally wouldn't since you don't trust them. After that, Windows Update is showing the same update again.

However, ahead of the new software's debut, Microsoft has disclosed an incredibly frustrating bug that can stop a computer from booting.

Panasonic halting business with Huawei after US ban-spokesman
In terms of 5G home broadband, Vodafone will offer HTC's 5G Mobile Smart Hub and Huawei's 5G CPE Pro router. Panasonic supplies electronic components and other smartphone-related products to Huawei.

This update has been made available to nearly every Windows 10 users.

If an unknown issue should appear, Microsoft will temporarily block the feature update on devices that could be affected, and the block will remain until the problem has been resolved permanently. Following the activation of the exploit, an attacker can edit any Windows file, including system executables. Microsoft's smart assistant debuted on the desktop with the launch of Windows 10 in 2015 but never took off. For more information, you could check out the update support page from the Microsoft website.

Microsoft has also made the Windows 10 May 2019 Update ISO files available for download, so if you want to perform a fresh install of the Windows 10 May 2019 Update, rather than upgrading your current version of Windows 10, you can do so.

Then we come to what is perhaps the strangest new feature shipping with this update: the ability to turn your game screenshots into memes.
