Donald Trump Clarifies Those ''Nasty'' Meghan Markle Comments

Donald Trump Clarifies Those ''Nasty'' Meghan Markle Comments

"It all started last week when Trump was informed of past comments made by the "Suits" actress-turned-princess during an interview with The Sun".

Many people were shocked to find that in an interview with President Trump, even Piers Morgan can come across as the reasonable one!

But Markle's political beliefs - she supported Mrs Hillary Clinton in the 2016 White House race - have not gone down well with President Donald Trump, who labelled her "nasty".

Later he stated that it was wrong to report that he had called Meghan "nasty", despite the interview being recorded.

During a half-hour exclusive interview with 'Good Morning Britain' host Piers Morgan, Trump said he did not discuss claims he had called the Duchess of Sussex "nasty".

"Trump has made it easy to see that you don't really want that kind of world that he's painting", she said at the time.

Trump insists that when he said "I didn't know she was nasty" about Meghan, he simply meant, "I didn't know she was nasty about me". And, essentially, I didn't know she was nasty about me. Trump has long said he was against the war, but did not take part in any of the antiwar protests that were regular events on the University of Pennsylvania campus when he was a student. I know that's a big point of contention with respect to Brexit.

Donald Trump hails Queen as a 'great, great woman' at state banquet
Judi said the President of the United States produced a "toe-curlingly awkward" visit when he met with the Queen previous year . They took a photo of the projection and tweeted it at Trump, saying it was "SAD!" that he was "wildly unpopular" in Britain.

Harry, along with brother Prince William, attended Monday's state dinner but have largely stayed out of sight during Trump's visit.

Trump said the royal family were all "really nice" after his visit. She'll be very good.

"I congratulated him and I think he's a terrific guy", Trump told ITV.

Meghan was a vocal opponent of Trump's presidency during the 2016 election, and once threatened to move to Canada if he won the leadership. He had lunch and met briefly with German Chancellor Angela Merkel before heading to Ireland for an airport meeting with Prime Minister Leo Varadkar and a stay at his golf course in the village of Doonbeg, his first visit to the country as president.

Huh. In all honesty, he actually doesn't say a bad thing about Meghan, clarifying that it wasn't Meghan he was calling "nasty" but, rather, her statement.

Before coming to Britain, Trump stated "I didn't know that".

"But it seems like she had".
